SADIA's core concept of INTEGRITY, UNITY, AND FAMIGLIA defines who we are as an organization. SADIA seeks to help those in need within our community as we would our own family. Our Italian Heritage, Culture, and Values define the members of this organization. SADIA has a long history of community service. This is evident by the scholarships and donations offered to many individuals, community groups and organizations.

SADIA contributes to the Chicagoland Italian American Community raising funds and participating in cultural events preserving the Italian Language, Heritage, and Culture.

SADIA participates in traditional festivals and events in collaboration with the IAET (Italian American Executives of Transportation), Casa Italia in Stone Park, the JCCIA (Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans) and other Italian Organizations. 

SADIA, a Schaumburg based organization, Schaumburg based organizations supports the Schaumburg Food Pantry, the Prairie Center for the Arts, the Adopt a Senior program, the Pack the Bus program, and Neighbors helping Neighbors.

In addition, SADIA supports local charities including Alzheimers Research, Breast Cancer Research, Diabetes Research, Fortunate Pooches, GiGi’s Playhouse, Multiple Sclerosis Research, and more.

SADIA also awards College Scholarships to students.

SADIA’S major fundraising event is the beverage tent each year at Schaumburg’s SeptemberFest Labor Day weekend.
