Thinking back over my past two years at Central Michigan, I am immediately filled with several feelings and emotions including gratitude, accomplishment, and ambition, but the one that sticks out most of all is maturity.

These past two years have taught me more about the world and myself than I ever thought possible. From my first day of college, which took place in the heart of a pandemic, I have faced adversity and have had to overcome a number of diverse obstacles. However, these challenges have helped shaped me into the student, business professional and most importantly, the man I am today. With the restrictions the pandemic had placed on students it would have been easy to just stay home, do school online, or even slack off while at school. I did not let those restrictions influence me, instead I went to my classes in-person when allowed, I joined clubs even if we could only meet over zoom, I became involved around campus and I truly tried to get as much out of college as I could those first two years.

As I prepare for my Junior year I am overjoyed to get back on campus, back in the classroom, back on the ice, in a more relaxed covid related setting for the first time. I completed a unique summer internship at Pharm Logistics this summer.

I could not be more appreciative for the opportunities and financial support the Scholarship from SADIA has given me, which has allowed me to join a Fraternity and serve as Treasurer, serve as the Vice President of the hockey organization and initiate new policies and bring together an amazing group of athletes, my friends, to accomplish many things on and off the ice  and other amazing organizations and do some incredible things on campus and in the community.
